for everyone

This month is going by SOOOOO fast I can't believe it.  We have been super busy trying to get things ready for Landen and even before that the visit of my mom, brothers and sister.  That will be fun!!!!

Well, after the ultrasound I went shopping for a few outfits for Landen and went to Babies R Us and got some stuff we registered for there as gifts from Grandma and Grandpa Pepi (Matt's Parents) .  :)  It was nice to finally buy him something since we know its a little boy!

I had to go back for another ultrasound a couple days later b/c they couldn't find Landen's stomach, but they found it right away that time.  Phew!!!! It's hard not to stress.  But they did also find at the second on that my placenta is low and I have to take it easier so that it will rise on it's own and not have to be put on bedrest.  YUCK!  I am sure it will be all good and we will check it again at 26-28 weeks.

Work is going good for me. I actually have this week off which is a welcome vacation from the boogers   .  Matt is in work as usual, but his job is going to higher him in a couple of weeks which will mean good things all around.  (right now he is working for a staffing type place)  The house here is look awesome and is really coming along. He is doing a great job!!! I'm so proud of him.

We had our 1 day assembly last weekend. That was great.  We had a speaker from Bethel who gave two awesome talks!  We felt really encouraged after.

And of course the memorial is coming up, so we are trying to figure who should be invited from our call books.  I have a few that may be interested but that are magazine route calls. It doesn't hurt to try right?

Then right after the memorial we have the C.O.'s visit. The new C.O. is from Worchester, MA!  Brother Roach, and his wife are both very nice.  So April will be a busy month.  We were going to auxillary together but b/c of my having to take it easy (placenta thing) I don't think that is going to happen, but we are certainly going to do the best we can, and put some extra.  I have been getting a lot of informal email witnessing time in!!! YAY!!!! It's so fun, and Matt laughs at me because I get so excited and I have to read every message back to him.

I have to go bring Minni to the vet to get her shots :(.  Poor girl!

Hope to  hear from you all soon!!

Boy!!!!!
We were so excited to see our son Landen on the ultrasound yesterday!!!!! He was so cute and kicking like crazy! We even got some pictures of him sucking his thumb! :) He was healthy and looked good. He's about 11oz right now, still very tiny of course but he's been growing fast these past few weeks and will continue to do so in the next 20!
That's right, we are half way done!!!
I just wanted to post the news to you all! I hope to hear from you soon! I will post more later!

**I just tried to scan the ultrasounds and my printer feels like eating them.....they almost got shredded! EEEEK!  Maybe later!

I haven't update in a while and I thought I might be due for one!  We are all doing good.  Matt has been getting stuff done on the house the past few weeks.  We've been busy I guess. :)

My tummy is starting to show, and get bigger.  I have been feeling it move since about 15 weeks.  I am at 19 weeks 2 days now, so I guess for a while.  It's definitely getting stronger every day and that is really exciting.  The little one wakes me up a lot a night with its night dance parties. LOL  But I love it. I fall asleep every night with my hand on my tummy enjoying it.  From the last dr. visit I am still healthy, and still hadn't gained any weight, though I think I put on a few lbs since then.  So I am probably back to my pre-preggy weight. LOL  And only getting bigger!

Starting Saturday hopefully we won't have to be saying "it" anymore!! We have our ultrasound then.  We will tell you all about when we come back.  I certainly am counting down the days!!!!

We are on the way out the door to the book study now.  I will give you more of an update later.  I miss you all!  *hugs all around*

So we finally went to the doctor, and we are doing good!!! He said we are healthy and everything is great. He got all my blood tests back and those were good too!
I was only worried about my lack of weight gain and he said I'm fine and even if I don't gain much up to week 20 as long as the baby is growing we are good. So phew. :) I just read about all these woman who gained so much already. Right now we are at week 15 and still no weight which seems crazy b/c I feel like I am always eating.
Then this week we had our ultrasound!! YEAH! It's SO cool. The baby was moving and we got to see it. It was just so neat. :) We could see the spine, and the heart, and the bladder and stomach even! It was on it's head upside down. I will put up the ultrasound picture. We got to more but the computer is being difficult so I can't post them now. But in the one I will post you can see the head and the body. MAN, the wonderful works of Jehovah!!!
We have been busy with service and working and stuff. Those are all going good. Getting some more work done in the Master bedroom. Think it should be done soon. (yay) I can't wait til everything is normal in here and we can start having company. LOL
We are trying to figure our which convention we are going to go to because we are due July 31st, (yes, no longer Aug. 1 ) And our convention is the that weekend. HAHAHAHA. It's just that who knows how I will feel, if I will have even had the baby, so we are going to try to catch one earlier.
Our friend Icela is getting married this weekend, and we are very excited to see it! She is so beautiful, she is going to be a beautiful bride. I am just going to miss her b/c she will be up in Georgia, but I know she will love married life, right? I will take pics of that for you all.
Getting hungry so I've go to go grab something. Hope to hear from you soon!

We've been really busy with lots of stuff, yet it seems like we haven't gotten much done. LOL.
I have been going between feeling crappy and feeling great. I don't think it's been very bad though. Migraines aren't fun, but its ok.
I have been eating healthy, but haven't put any weight on. Week 14...and I feel like I should have put a little more on. But I am trying to eat a little more (and have been getting more hunry more often) but stay healthy. Addicted to broccoli. :) I go to the doctor FINALLY on Friday, and then I will have more info for you. I think I am good though. :)
Matt and I went to Babys R' Us on Saturday and looked at all the fun stuff. It made it more real. And we realized how much stuff we need. ARGHH.
I got some maternity clothes on ebay and they turned out to be way to big. I had gotten a pair of jeans at a thrift shop Large and they fit so good, but then all the large maternity clothes won't even stay around my waist. I know I will grow, but still, its big! LOL
The weather has been beautiful and today I feel great so Minni and I went for a LONG walk through our neighborhood. This is perfect, its sunny and low 80's. Perfect weather. Makes me so happy. I love it we leave our windows open all day and all night, and there is a nice breeze. It's to bad it doesn't stay like this all year round. LOL
Matt got the master tiled, and we are trying to fix the closet right now because it had to be redone and repainted. All our closet hanging clothes are in the living room and its so hard to get my meeting clothes ready. I am so ready to live like normal people. LOL
Work is going well, the kids are good, and they are pretty easy. I can't complain. It's nice and close to home to, so I am spoiled. :)
That's the update! I hope I didn't ramble!
Hope to hear from you soon!

Did you hear the good news?  We are very excited.  We are two months pregnant, due August 4ish.  So far its been going well, just a lot of tummy aches all day every day.  Today I was miserable with a migraine, and I had a job interview and I wanted to throw up on the lady instead of smile. LOL  But I don't want to be one of those pregnant women who complain all the time, especially since we are soooo excited about it.  So, unless you ask, I will tell you only the good.
Hope to hear from you soon!

We haven't really written in a while because we have been SOOOO busy.  We just got back from our cruise. We had a great time.  It was very nice.  I am not sure I would go on a cruise again, but it was fun and relaxing.
We didn't get to go to Cozumel because the water was to choppy to go in on the boats, but I would rather be safe then sorry you know?  We could see through a lot of the hotels from the boat. So they probably weren't that cleaned up yet.
We spent the day at sea instead, and relaxed, and watched a show, and then did some Karaoke.  Hahaha, I sang I will always love you.  And we danced in the club a bit, but it was rocking a lot that night, so we didn't last longer than a half hour.  I wanted to sing more, but was getting a tummy ache.  We did make it to the Cayman Islands, and they wanted to spend the morning shopping which we did until we couldn't stand it anymore and went and ate lunch and then went to the beach there. The water was so nice and it was really pretty and clear, but the waves were big.  When we tried to get past the waves to the calmer water we kept getting knocked over, and we were cracking up.  We were pulling eachother down trying to stay up!
We went to Negril Beach in Jamaica, we did Margaritaville, which was loud, but the beach was pretty and the water was very nice.  We got lots of offers to buy shells, and cigarettes, and pot, and get my hair braided.  That was the job.  They all said, you are the first client of the day! I will give you a special deal! Ya man!
We saw the Kingdom Hall is passing. It was pretty.
The last island we went to was the Bahamas which was my favorite of the four.  It was nice, we went to the end of the beach and had a cabana, and read, and played cards, and we walked the beach, and colleted shells and coral (dead) and a star firsh (also dead).  The water was the best, very calm, very turqoise, and we rented a float and just lied out in it for a while.  We got burnt though....i was the lobster girl.  I even used a lot of sun screen but you know me.
The ship was nice, the crew were very nice, and helpful. The food was good.  We were dissapointed with the pools, they were so tiny.  The one at our condo is bigger. Even our hot tub here (which holds 15) was bigger than some of them.  They were always full of screaming kids, or drunk adults, so we didn't get to go in to much.  We like it by the spa better, quieter.
I think that I learned that a cruise is for people who like to eat and drink and gamble, none of which do it for me.  But it was very nice.  It was also great to spend time with Matt's parents. We hadn't seen them in a long time.
Now its time to get back to life.   What have you been up to?

Hey....Yes I am still alive. We have been so crazy busy that I haven't been able to post anything.  Last weekend we spent in Orlando with Matt's brother James, his wife Ann, and their two boys. They are soooo cute, and we had a great time.  I hadn't really spent anytime with Ann, but she was really nice and easy to get along with, and we were thrilled to be able to spend time with them. I will post some pictures later.

Matt's been going on business trips the past three weeks again, not gone for the whole week, usually 3 or 4 days at a time.  I can't wait until the job is over so I can have him back :)  Though October is going to be really busy to because he has to side jobs going. Our Saturdays are service, lunch, matt to work, watchtower study and then bed.  For him anyway. LOL  We haven't been to busy to serve Jehovah though, an that is good, still have our family study on Mondays, which is my favorite night to look forward to.

All these hurricanes though are scary and make us not want to stay in Florida!  I don't know if or when or where will move, but the thought has crossed our mind. (don't read that Maritza ;) )

Minni is doing good, she is so cute and sweet and cuddly, though she doesn't like it when Matt's not here either.  She is scared of everything she hears with out her daddy to protect her.

We are really looking forward to our cruise, I love vacations, how about you?

Nothing is really new with me, although I am very sad to say we missed the Red Sox games we had tickets for the other night. Matt was away, so I had to give them away. I am happy with how they are doing though... though they need to get some good pitchers, and stop playing sloppy.  We have a big weekend ahead of us playing the yankees, YIKES! To bad they are going to have to lose, right?

That's all that is new for now!

I hope to hear from you all soon!

Hi everyone! It's Saturday and I am so glad!  There is never enough time in the week to do anything with work and meetings and everything.
I love weekends because its our together time.  It sounds mushy, but it's a fact.  Even if we do nothing, its ok as along as we get to be together.  Today I am not feeling well, I don't know what it is. My throat hurts and is SO swollen. It hurts to talk and swallow, but I don't really have that many other symptoms. I just feel exhausted.  It's been like this since Thursday a.m.  So, its not to fun.  We are going to try to go the Costco today and get some things.  Matt needs some new workpants and they have nice ones there for about 15 dollars. Union Bay.  He likes to rip his pants on everything.  I sew them up but he goes through them quick.
We were supposed to get a car inspection today for our new insurance and we went but they said to us, you need your insurance card, and we haven't recieved it yet.
Marybeth and Steven and Jeff signed up for Multiply.  That's fun. They haven't put anything on yet but it will be neat if they do.  Those are Matt's brothers by the way.  We don't talk with them all that much, I guess we are just to busy, so maybe Multiply will at least help us to know what's going on in eachothers lives. Right?
So, I have been doing reception full time at a medical office, it was a temp job for two weeks, and then I stopped for two days, and they called me back and asked me to work there perm. It's a decent job.  A lot of work, but its ok. It's a job. So I just finished my third week there, but until the President comes I am not working through them yet. I am still working through the temp place.  So when we sit down to discuss everything, I am going to have to say, hey I am going on a cruise Thanksgiving break. So we will see how perm the job really is.
Ryan one of our good friends from Minnesota read my multiply and he said it was funny. What is that supposed to mean?
Is it because I ramble on about nothing endlessly?
Well, I guess I have nothing good to talk about.

We are switching halls.  Yes, we talked to the brothers on Thursday night and we are switching to Tarpon Springs.  We are in their territory, and they only have 2/3 servants.  So we can feel like we are helping, and you know, Jehovah is a God of order, so we should go where our territory says.
Right!
So we will start at our new hall tomarrow! And for now they have morning meetings!! YAY. At least until the end of the year.

O, Katrina (hurricane) isn't really bothering  us.  Its just windy (which is really nice) and heavy rains now and then.  They even removed the tropical storm watch for our area. So, no worries.
Yesterday it was pouring when I left work and I was thinking how smart I was for bringing my umbrella as I walked to the car, and everyone else was running. Until the wind blew my umbrella so hard the wires bent and it no longer did me any good. That shows me, doesn't it?!

Matt got new glasses, look at the picture!

I hope to hear from you all soon!
Take care.

for everyone

Apparently I havent' logged on here in over a week.  They emailed me and said, hey, you've missed a lot!  So that means I haven't update what I have been up to.

Just doing the same old. Right now I am temping at a medical office doing reception until I can find something permanent and something I will enjoy. I was offered a position at a preschool down the road, and really wanted it (literally half a mile away), but there is no way I would have been able to afford it! That is the problem with the line of work.  They pay nothing.

The old preschool I worked at I gave my two weeks notice b/c I was working 10 hour days without breaks, on day I was so sick it was coming out both ends, and my boss wouldn't let me go home! Arggg.  Sometimes they would forget little 2 year olds outside and I would walk thru the playground and see them.  They didn't seem to mind it, but when parents starting hearing this, hmmmm. I had to buy my own supplies and never got reimbursed half the time... Anyway, I gave my notice and when she asked why, I told her all this and more, and she was really insulted. And said I can go home, no need to stay 2 weeks. Well, her loss right? The truth hurts.  We'll even though she was always praising me, just gave me a raise, now she won't give me a reference. I am not sure if she relizes how silly she is. But, I have to apply to preschool with what looks like no experience so they want to start me at nuthing, even though I have so much schooling already done.

Anyway, that's just rambling.

We are getting work done on our house. It's nice.  Matt is doing a great job, and he never seems to stop working. He's just like his dad.  His dad is great, don't worry! So it's not a bad thing. Anyway, he came home Wednesday night and ripped up tile in the master bath, and gutted it, and then he went to Maritza's house and put down her trim!!!!

Last night though he wasn't feeling good. I think he was sick from the heat. It was like 95 and the heat index was above 105!!!!!!  He says he feels better today though. I'm so glad.

Minni is being a good girl, but has a thing for my underwear and matt's socks. I know! It's so icky! She jumps into the laundry basket when we aren't home and pulls them out.  Chews wholes in them! GROSS!!!  I now put the basket in the bathroom and close the door whenever we leave.  She's just a bored little baby... I come home on my lunch break and spend an hour with her and walk her, so don't worry, she gets lots of attention.

So we are doing good. Just been so busy with life.

We visited Tarpon Springs Hall the other day, they were so nice, and warm and.....real.

Talk to you all soon! I hope I hear from you soon too!

Ciao.

I am not really to creative when it comes to thinking of subjects for my journal entries.  But today was a good day.  Matt and I spent the morning relaxing and we studied our watchtower together and then got ready for the meeting.  The talk today was on the last days and they ways we can endure to the end.  The speaker talked about 5 fruitages of the true religion.
1. Mark 12:29 love our neighbor as ourself, John 13:34 loving eachother as Jesus loved us (That's a lot of love)
2. 2 Tim 3:15, 16 Bible only guide and only basis for teaching.
3. Matt 6:9 Jesus outlined how we just pray...you know like in the Lord's Prayer, or the Our father...Let your name be sanctified or hallowed be your name (not title, like God but name like Jehovah) He gave the examples of God's servants in the first Bible and how they all new His name.
4. Matt 24:14 Fulfilling the preaching work
5.John 5:19 being no part of the world...i.e. not dress innapropriately, swearing, taking part in customs like holidays, you get the idea.
The watchtower was so awesome too. It was just a wonderful feeling to be there:)

After the meeting I made a big salad for lunch and it was so yummy, and they a couple hours later I made steak and garlic mashed pots, and that was yummy too. I marinated it for a over 24 hours in honey teriyaki sauce so it was so good.

Anyway, tomarrow Matt leaves 5am til friday pm.  So think of me. Call me and write me because I don't want to get lonely!
I can't wait to hear from you all!
Love!!!

This weekend Matt and I have been busy working on the house.  It's a little chaotic because everything is almost done...but not all the way.  But we got a lot of crown molding in and the wood valances for the windows....they add a very nice touch to the rooms.
Steve, Roman, and Mary Beth came and helped us out with a little of the cutting, but we had to fly because they could only spare a 3 hours. I was suprised how much they got done! While they were working Roman, and Mary Beth and I went to the pool and it was so beautiful!!! The water was so cool, and the air was really warm! It was wonderful!
It seems like the past few days have been really busy trying to get a lot done...but when I look back, I can't remember what!!!
Today they were supposed to deliver our couch for the guest room! Listen to this, so they came and they couldn't get it into the room because they couldn't get it at the right angle because the ceiling was 1 inch to low!!! So we sent it back and now they are saying that we can't get our money back because it was custom.....
Matt's thinking we should take out the window and try and get it in thru there, and yeah great idea, but we are on the second floor... We really don't want to just throw away that much money so we have to figure something out. We just need to find someone who is strong and tall to help lift in it.
Sheesh! I'm exhausted just thinking about it!
Did I mention Minni had a seizure the other night? That was kinda scary, we had to rush her to the pet place and they charged us 259 just to say, yeah, I think it was a seizure. Thanks.

Well, I am starting this journal on a negative note.  But that is just where I am for now.
I just got back from the east coast of Florida.  It was really nice to see all my family, but absolutely terrible to be there under those circumstances.  My grampy died and he was so stinking cool.  He was really proud of his children, and grandkids, and great grand kids. He always bragged about them.
But I know I can be positive in that I'll see him again in the paradise.  And we'll be perfect!  It's a neat and comforting thought, and one that always gets me through the hard stuff.  Like dads, or grandparents or friends dying.
Anyway, today the job hunt started.  A few options, I am sure something will come up. Keep me in your prayers!!!
Matt's home for the night before he is off on another adventure.  So now I can go catch up with him.
